About Your Housing Group

We want all of our residents to feel safe and comfortable and be able to live in affordable, decent homes – and repairs and maintenance plays a big part of getting that right.
If you’re a qualified and skilled multi-trade, joiner, plasterer, plumber, electrician, roofer, floor layer or maintenance operative (semi-skilled), then we’d love to see you at one of our open days where you can find out more.
Qualifications & Criteria
For our multi-trade, joiner, plasterer, plumber, roofer, and floor layer roles you must be:
* Qualified to NVQ Level 3 in your chosen skilled trade (or similar) or have a minimum of three years’ experience.
Electricians must have an:
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent recognised competency/qualification within the electrical field.
* Plus, a City and Guilds Inspection and Testing (G&G: 2391 or equivalent)
* And BS: 7671 18th Edition or currently in the process of achieving 18th.
Maintenance Operatives must have:
* Appropriate trade qualifications (NVQ / City and Guilds or equivalent)
* And experience of completing and delivering response repairs and maintenance works preferably within the social housing sector.
