The Role

Our client is looking to appoint a motivated and ambitious Public Relations Manager to join their team and contribute to their rapid growth. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 18 months of experience in PR and communications, with a proven track record in developing and implementing successful PR strategies.


Responsibilities

  • PR Strategy Development: In partnership with the CEO and other member of the management team develop and implement effective PR strategies to enhance our client's brand visibility and reputation.
  • Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets and journalists within the sector, as well as industry influencers, to secure positive coverage.
  • Partnerships: Identify and establish strategic partnerships to expand their reach and impact.
  • Content Creation: Write and distribute press releases, articles, and other PR materials to promote company initiatives and achievements.
  • Social Media Management: Oversee social media strategy and execution to ensure consistent messaging and engagement across platforms.
  • Event Management: Help to plan and execute events, including press conferences and promotional events.
  • Measurement and Reporting: Monitor, analyse, and report on the effectiveness of PR campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement


About you

  • You will have at least 18 months experience of working in PR and Communications (either within an Agency or In-House).
  • Have existing media relations skills, with a proven track record of securing media coverage.
  • Be coachable, ambitious and driven; you will be working alongside members of the C-Suite.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience in event planning and execution.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools.
  • Happy to work remotely, but with the ability to travel to their office on the south coast of England a few days per month.
