Alias Aerodynamic Surfacing Engineer

At Catesby Projects we support customer programmes across a range of international sectors including: motorsport, automotive, and elite sport. From concept phase to final design, working at Catesby Projects will be varied and challenging as we push engineering boundaries across multiple sectors. We are looking for an Alias Aerodynamic Surfacing Engineer who will be supporting both new programmes and the ongoing evolution of existing. You will have experience in surfacing vehicles in a consultancy setting with a minimum of 2 years experience. Key responsibilities: Aerodynamic surfacing work on a range of applications including elite sport, automotive and motorsport. Working in a multidisciplined design team, possibly helping with other areas such as 3D printing or 3D scanning. Creation of surfaces to support aerodynamicists or CFD Engineers with their requirements as part of consultancy development programmes. Depending upon experience and desire, involvement with mechanical design, 3D scanning or 3D printing could also form part of your responsibilities.   You: An engineering or design graduate with industry experience and a passion for a variety of disciplines including motorsport, automotive and elite sport. You will be proficient in creation of aerodynamic surfaces with a minimum of two years experience post graduation. Experience using Alias in a commercial environment is required. Experience in 3D scanning or 3D printing, would be advantageous but not essential. You will want to work on a variety of applications in a small but growing team. A hands-on approach and desire to ‘get stuck in’ is essential.   What we offer in return: Structured career development paths, 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
