Associate Data Scientist

We are looking for 2 Associate Data Scientists to join our Data Science and Analytics team here at The Multiplayer Group (MPG). Your primary responsibilities will be the gathering, transforming and presenting data on a wide array of Game Industry related projects.
This is an entry level position, so experience is not required as training will be provided on the job. However, a graduate degree from a STEM course is essential. Familiarity with data science tools is advantageous (such as but not limited to: Python, Jupyter Notebook, Tableau, SQL and Linux).
We need someone who can think their way around problems rather than through them, has an aptitude for creative problem solving and is naturally curious. You should also be capable of constructing a narrative that speaks for the data and isn’t dogmatically tied to your own preconceived beliefs.
What you'll be doing:nBuilding and maintaining data platforms leveraging APIs, SQL, NoSQL etc.nDesign analytics dashboards using tools like TableaunModelling and forecastingnConducting Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA)nOrganising tasks and projectsnCommunicating key insights in an intuitive waynReading research papers to understand business questions
What we'd love to see from you:nGraduate degree from a STEM course (Statistics, Mathematics, etc.)nFamiliarity with data science tools is advantageousnAn interest in the gaming industrynYou're naturally curious and have an aptitude of creatively solving problems
