Linux System Administrator - 5 days on-site in Reading - £50-65K
Austin Fraser is currently supporting an award-winning and rapidly growing healthcare software company.
They are currently looking to onboard an experienced Linux System Administrator to be responsible for the integrity and security of their SaaS deployments. This opportunity will also allow you to be working with DevOps tools.
Responsibilities:
- Offering out of hours support.
- Consistently striving to improve performance by scaling, configuring, and fine-tuning the integrity and security of their SaaS deployments.
- Responding to escalations, troubleshooting and drafting reports after investigations and incidents.
- Working with the wider teams in the business to provide excellent customer service.
- Produce created and detailed RCAs.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with Linux and Kubernetes.
- Experience working in a cloud and containerized environment.
- Experience managing large MySQL database instances.
- Previous experience with DevOps, IaC technologies, GitOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment.
- Experience in incident management and troubleshooting methodologies.
This role is based in Reading and requires you to be onsite 5 days per week.
