The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring smooth logistics operations, complete administrative tasks and handling customer interactions on a daily basis.
Description
The Logistics Coordinator's duties and responsibilities will be:
- Manage and coordinate logistics operations in a busy distribution site
- Handle customer interactions and resolve any issues promptly
- Ensure customer orders are processed and delivered in a timely manner
- Monitor stock levels and manage reordering processes
- Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and deliveries
- Comply with all health and safety regulations
Profile
A successful Logistics Coordinator should have:
- Experience in logistics, business administration, or a related field within distribution
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in relevant software applications
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
