Hours:
40 p/wk. M-F, 8am-5pm
Reports to:
Operations Manager
Role status:
New position which will support the Maintenance Manager who is reducing their hours.
Salary:
£35k however this is negotiable for the right candidate

Candidate must live local to the companies head office in Petersfield, Hampshire.
Candidate must be happy to use digital records.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Support the safe, efficient and effective operation/running of the Yard and Workshops. Undertake tasks in-keeping with this, as reasonably requested.
* Perform annual services on company fleet.
* Conduct routine vehicle/plant services and inspections.
* Attend any breakdowns, diagnosing faults, repairing parts and ensuring the safe onward journey of the vehicle, or arranging recovery where required.
* Diagnose system malfunctions, isolate causes, and correct deficiencies for the company fleet.
* Attend sites to carry out servicing and repairs of the Company's plant equipment; including delivery of machine attachments to sites.
* Identify parts in repair manuals and place order request for needed parts.
* Repair or replace any damaged or worn vehicle parts, as may be appropriate.
* Dismantle and reassemble equipment, using technical manuals.
* Maintain accurate records, digital and paper, completing all paperwork/documentation within set timeframes.
* Maintain the inventory of equipment and machinery, to a high degree of accuracy.
* Maintain a thorough machine history record in line with Company policies and procedures.
* Receive and book in delivery of new equipment, tools, etc.
* Prompt and accurate reporting of equipment failure/vehicle breakdown, keeping relevant parties updated on progress as required.
* Liaise and support internal colleagues and external suppliers and clients for the proper performance of the role.
* Ensure site safety/regulations are adhered to with regards to site briefings, inductions, signing in etc.
* Maintain good working practices and be prepared to share knowledge and explain technical information clearly to non-technical audiences.
* Maintain a clear workspace.
* Observe and follow all applicable safe methods of working, and Health, Safety and Environmental rules/procedures. Report any incidents or Close Calls immediately to the appropriate person.
* Undertake training as required by your manager or the Company.
* Adhere to Company Policies and Procedures.
* Uphold and reflect the ethos and values of the Company.

* Undertake any other duties as may be reasonably required by the Company.

Essential:
