Controls EngineerAn experienced Controls Engineer is required for a leading automotive manufacturer in Oxford.Duties & Responsibilities include:Control systems engineering, planning, installation, commissioning, acceptance, support and optimisation for facilities and conveyors.Performance calculation, value of the benefits, cost and investment analysis, budget planning and steering of the project stakeholders.Optimising of costs, quality, ergonomics, technical innovation,Appraisal and acceptance of construction drawings.Supporting the maintenance and process planning.Working within the project framework.Maintain conformity with technical regulations and harmonized standards, e.g. Machinery directives and safety performance etc.Preparing the tender description (RFQ), requirements specification, tender analysis, cost analysis, review with supplier's quotation analysis.The implementation of the existing standards in robots, drives, components and software.Definition of the hardware and software interfacesThe detailed project planning, after awarding of the contract for the construction of functions and dimensioning of electrics and controls.Qualifications & Experience3+ year's experience in control systems engineering.Knowledge of; machine control, automation, robotics and control engineering, building services, hydraulics, pneumatics, project management, and IT networks,Good leadership and project planning skillsGood problem resolution techniques and good preventative maintenance techniquesMust be able to communicate with all internal and external partners and have the ability to sell concepts effectively.Good knowledge of VPS principles.Interested, please apply immediatly and you will be responded to as soon as possible.Vibe Recruit is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
