Purpose:nTo cope with our expansion, we are looking for a backend java developer with a deep knowledge of testing, to join our mission and help us build a global product that's scalable, reliable and secure.nYou will work in tribes alongside product managers, user researchers, designers, mobile engineers, web engineers, data analysts and business analysts to define features specifications (Fraud, Risk, Treasury, Finance and more)

What you’ll be doing:nWork with global product teams to create and evaluate the product roadmap - inputting on what we should be creating and how we should go about itnBe the technical voice at the table, prepared to educate and guide the business on the right approach, technology and trendsnApply quality software engineering practices through all phases of development and into productionnContribute with analysis and solutions to fulfil business requirementsnDesign and develop reliable, fast, flexible and decoupled systemsnResearch, plan and implement integrations with numerous banking and payments systemsnOptimise performance of complex systemsnCreate structured, testable, lightweight Junit based unit tests, Gatling/K6 based API automation test and NFT code in Java and other tools/languagesnWhat we are looking for:nStrong experience working on the automated micro services tests of backend of a technology product (excellent Java skills and understand relational databases)nHave a product mindset: you care about customer outcomes and you want to make data-informed decisionsnKnowledge around JUnit Testing, API Automated Tests, BDD,TDD along with strong expertise in Gatling, K6 (optional: Load Runner) based performance testing focusing on micro servicesnYou’re comfortable working in a team that deals with ambiguity and aggressive timelinesnExperience in both waterfall and agile development practices and comfortable with working in the DevOps culturenA track record of forging strong relationships and building trusted partnerships through open dialogue and continuous deliverynEven better if you have:nPrevious payment systems integration experiencenExposure to the full stack, from frontend UI to the server side, business logic and database, and awareness of the leading technologies in each domainnAdvanced hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services and its core architectural components / utilitiesnDatabase management skills like scaling, performance management, capacity planning, etc., PostgreSQL
