Longstanding and reputable Water Hygiene / Legionella management company with a national presence are now seeking to take on a Water Hygiene Engineer. The role would suit someone who can hit the ground running, carrying out various L8 compliance duties such as water sampling, temperature monitoring and TMV servicing & failsafe testing. You will be working on Commercial, Industrial and Educational sites, ensuring to work in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines. For the successful candidate, our client can offer an attractive salary, opportunities for career progression, generous holiday allowance and good overtime rates.
Candidate will have good access to M25 and surrounding areas: Windsor, Reading, Bracknell, Woking, Guildford, Epsom, Kingston upon Thames, Reigate, Crawley, Horsham, Haslemere, Epsom, Croydon, High Wycombe, Oxford, Abington , Hemel Hempstead, Aylesbury, Luton, Watford, Bletchley, Brackley,
Experience & Qualifications:
" Hands on experience as a Water Hygiene Engineer for an established Water Hygiene / Legionella Management company.
" Extensive knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Good IT skills, able to update onsite logbooks.
" Good communication skills.
" Excellent time management skills.
The Role:
" Water sampling and temperature monitoring.
" TMV servicing and failsafe testing.
" CWST cleans and disinfections.
" Routine showerhead cleans and descales.
" Calorifier blowdowns.
" Closed system sampling & analysis.
" Dosing closed systems with correct chemicals.
" Ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Updating onsite logbooks accurate upon completion of work.
