Our client are a thriving M&E contractor experiencing unprecedented growth, delivering cutting-edge projects in the commercial and data centre sectors. To keep pace with their expansion, they are seeking top talent to join their dynamic team in London or Slough.
This is an opportunity for professional and skilled Mechanical Project Manager to be responsible for overseeing the design, day-to-day schedules, resource and budget, as well as manage staff to ensure work is completed on time and to a high standard. You will be required to keep on top of installation certification (EIC) and compliance with QHSE.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and motivate the project team
* Manage all aspects of project delivery, including design, procurement, construction, and commissioning
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships
* Prepare detailed project plans, budgets, and resource allocations
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and contractual obligations
* Provide technical expertise and support to the project
Qualifications
* Experience Building Services / Mechanical Contractor at a similar level.
* Engineering degree in relevant discipline or equivalent timed served experience
* Member of Mechanical Engineering Professional Body i.e., CIBSE, CIOB, CSCS / IET
* Health & Safety qualification – CITB Site Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)
Skills & Knowledge
* Full understanding of Mechanical engineering previous experience within an ideally commercial environment.
* Previous leadership skills and experience in an Mechanical Contracting / Construction environment, commercial or data centre.
* Organisational skills for ensuring multiple building projects are completed on time and on budget
* Leadership skills for motivating workers and maintaining positive and safe work environments.
* Understanding of the Construction Design and Management (CDM) 2015 Regulations & Common Safety Method (CSM) 2013 Regulations, specifically the designer's requirements.
* Great attention to detail for effective safety and construction work checks. H&S knowledge and experience within Mechanical installation projects (RAMS / SHEQ /CDM)
Rate:
* £350 - £400 P.D (DOE)
