About the Role
* The salary starts at £41,870 plus up to 10% bonus, Healthcare, Pension
* Can be based at Morden, Fareham, Maidenhead or Hayes

* An exciting opportunity has arisen in our corporate development team for an enthusiastic Bid Writer.

* The role would be based in our I&C hub based in Morden.
What will I be doing?
Your primary responsibility will be to write high quality bid responses for new tenders. You will be responsible for introducing and coordinating the bid response process, developing and maintaining a knowledge base of ‘standard’ answers and templates, as well as identifying ways to improve the quality, consistency and efficiency of the bid response process.
* You will report to the Head of Sales for I&C and be responsible for supporting the preparation and submission of Industrial and Commercial tenders.
* You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-scoring bid content which positions SUEZ as the lead bidder on quality and technical capability
* Compile, edit, and proofread commercial proposals which contain technical content and designs ensuring that these are presented in a professional and concise manner.
* Review and revise documents prepared by others and coordinate the preparation of those materials in a completed bid document
* Determine the scope and timeline of new bids. Lead and coordinate the preparation of the bid ensuring that other contributors provide information on time to the correct standard answering the client’s needs.
* Develop knowledge of business, its products and services by reading and review previous bid and design documents and spending time with pre sales, technical and commercial functions
* Develop computer based document store and reference materials
* Review and improve other customer materials and develop a consistent set of standards for other commercial functions to follow
* Develop a set of standard templates for less complex bids
* You will work closely with the other members of the sales team, marketing team and other operational and commercial functions within the business.
What are the requirements?
* You must be able to demonstrate great team working skills and management and communication skill with a desire and tenacity to complete tasks in tight timescales.
* You will be required to be educated to a degree level or equivalent and having at least one year of demonstrable work experience would be an advantage.
* A full UK driving licence is essential.
