About Us: The Heritage Railway Association is a successful, progressive and ambitious trade association that acts as the ‘voice’ of UK heritage rail within the visitor economy and the cultural heritage sector. We bring our membership the best practice support required to ensure the viability and sustainability of our wonderful heritage railways, tramways and museums for all to enjoy.


About You: We’re seeking an adaptable, self-motivated, hands-on candidate with a professional outlook and can-do attitude, who shares our values and is keen to help heritage – and our members interests - to prosper.


About the Role: In this role, which has two distinct but inter-dependent elements, you will:


  • ‘Own’, lead and maintain the relationship with our corporate members and commercial partners, and help to grow and facilitate strong, sustained and engaged relationships
  • Develop business opportunities to increase membership as well as new commercial partners and sponsors.
  • Produce and manage our successful member-focused events and activities
  • Have plenty of scope to innovate, to collaborate and to build your skillset as the ‘go to’ person to get stuff done and get it done well



Joining our small team working at the heart of the heritage rail sector, the successful candidate will report directly to the CEO and fulfil a pivotal role within the HRA to further the continuing development, growth and impact of the heritage rail sector
