We are currently seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our well-established family-run business in Chard. As a part of our small team, you will use your expertise in operating press brake machinery to fabricate and assemble sheet metal components.
As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for:
Operating press brake machinery to bend and form sheet metal according to specifications.
Setting up and adjusting press brake machine settings for optimal performance.
Using hand tools and equipment to finish products to a high standard.
To succeed in this role, you must have previous experience in:
Press Brake Operation or a similar role, with experience in setting and operating.
Grinding, sheet metal fabrication, and assembly techniques.
Troubleshooting machine issues and making necessary adjustments.
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
Working in a safe and timely manner.
