The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant
We are looking for x4 Teaching assistants to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties. Experience of supporting Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 and working with children with special educational needs will be an advantage for this post.
A good work ethic, calm presence in the classroom, patience and a willingness to learn will also be an advantage.
* 8.30am-4pm

This role requires the candidate/s to be proactive, creative and nurturing. You will support the class teacher and be the point of contact to adapt and support learners with their academic journeys.
Main duties
1.To be responsible for carrying out planned programmes of intervention with pupil(s) of primary school age, both in the classroom and in the playground.
2.To carry out specified activities with either small groups or individual pupils after discussion and planning with Line Manager. This will be set out in individual partnership plan.
3.To help pupils in the areas of literacy, numeracy and social skills development.
4.To carry out systematic observation of pupils, record observations and keep up to date records and contribute to planning and appropriate strategies based on these observations.

This SEN School is looking for x4 SEN Teaching Assistants to support across their primary years. The school cater to students with SEMH, ASD and ADHD as well as other areas of special educational needs.
They have a purpose built provision for their amazing ASD pupils as well as a outreach and nurture service supporting young people throughout the royal boroufgh of Greenwich.
