We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to join our school community in Wandsworth. As the first point of contact for students, parents, and visitors, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional administrative support to the school community.
Key Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service to students, parents, and staff, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Manage the reception desk, answering phone calls, taking messages, and directing visitors to relevant areas of the school with a warm and welcoming approach.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including student records, attendance records, and staff information with attention to detail and precision.
Prepare and distribute documents, reports, and other materials as required by the school, ensuring timely and efficient communication.
Support administrative tasks such as photocopying, filing, data entry, and other duties as needed.
Contribute to the school's marketing and communication efforts by preparing materials for social media, newsletters, and other publications with creativity and attention to detail.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and staff to ensure a positive and welcoming school environment.
Requirements
Enhanced DBS Check
Experience working in a secondary or primary school setting
Proficiency in using SIMS/BROMCOM systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
