The ideal candidate will be ACCA or ACA part or fully qualified and has experience in reviewing accounts and assisting with audit.
Duties will include:
* Audit Fieldwork and assisting the Audit Senior with the day-to-day audit process
* Assisting with planning audit assignments, identifying key risks, assessing how to test them and completing an analytical review.
* Leading smaller audits
* Supporting the senior team with the preparation of audits.
* Review of statutory financial statements for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.
* Review of corporation tax returns
* Manage workflow and ensure client work is completed and delivered to a high standard and in a timely manner.
* Liaise with HMRC on client matters.
* Confidently liaise with clients and helping with queries.
* Support with general accountancy services and business advice.
* Work closely with senior team members.
* Promote and strive for customer service excellence.
* Assist with ad-hoc projects as required.
Skills and Attributes:
* ACA or ACCA part or fully qualified preferably.
* Minimum 1 to 2 Years' experience in practice in a similar role
* IRIS software experience highly desirable
* Cloud-based accounting systems knowledge including Xero, QuickBooks
* Broad background and experience of accounts, tax and audit
* A can-do attitude to problem-solving.
* Self-motivated and able to manage your own deadlines and workflow.
* Excellent communication and attention to detail.
* Strong IT skills including Word, Outlook and Excel, to an intermediate level

Hours:
9:00 to 17:00 (1 hour lunch break)
Salary:
£40K to £45k (depending on experience)
