Daily Rate: £84 - £115
Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in the London Borough of Bexley is recruiting an experienced Behaviour TA or Behaviour Mentor / SEN TA to work on a contract basis.  This is a 5 day a week role is to start straight away.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to students with SEMH, Autism, and behaviour complexities in 1:1 and small group settings. They will also be responsible for de-escalating challenging behaviour and providing support to students with EHCPs.
Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEMH, Autism, and behaviour complexities
De-escalate challenging behaviour in a calm and professional manner
Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement behaviour plans
Monitor and record student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents
Attend meetings with parents, teachers, and other professionals as required
Provide support to students with EHCPs, ensuring that their needs are met and their progress is monitored
Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment for all students
Previous experience working as a Behaviour TA / Behaviour Mentor / SEN TA n a similar setting
Strong knowledge of behaviour management strategies and techniques
Experience working with students with SEMH, Autism, and behaviour complexities
Understanding of EHCPs and the ability to provide support to students with these plans
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
You have an Enhanced DBS or able to buy a new one ASAP
You live in easy commutable distance to the London Borough of Bexley
