We are looking for a skilled Site Supervisor to lead subcontract site teams and oversee the installation of an innovative wall system. As a key member of the team, you’ll have the opportunity to work on unique, sustainable projects across the UK, contributing to both land and water applications.
About the Organisation: They are specialists in the manufacture, supply, design, and installation of a proprietary retaining system, which provides a green, vegetated finish that blends with the environment. With a growing portfolio of projects, we are expanding a team of installers to take on larger projects nationwide.
Your Role: As the Site Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of site operations, ensuring that installations meet high standards for sustainability and quality. You will act as the face of the company on-site, representing the companies commitment to eco-friendly solutions while ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Health & Safety Leadership: Ensure the safety of the site team and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Project Management: Oversee projects to guarantee they run on schedule and within budget.
Construction Oversight: Ensure installations are carried out according to design and specifications.
Communication: Report any on-site changes back to the office, maintaining strong communication with clients and the project team.
Record Keeping: Keep detailed and accurate records of site activities.
Client Management: Meet and manage client expectations, ensuring satisfaction with our service.
What We’re Looking For:
Construction Expertise: Previous experience in the construction industry, with the ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure the quality and accuracy of installations.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with GPS/laser levels is preferred, but training can be provided.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with proficiency in using technology to liaise with clients and team members.
Health & Safety Knowledge: A solid understanding of CDM and H&S regulations is essential.
Qualifications & Experience:
SMSTS/SSSTS qualification (preferred but can be completed with us)
CAT & Genny certification (preferred)
Experience with direct labour or subcontractor management
Ability to travel across the UK and stay overnight as required
