About The Role

The Drama and English Teacher will be responsible for teaching Drama and English to students at Key Stage 3 and 4. The ideal candidate will have a passion for both subjects and will be able to create engaging and stimulating lessons. The candidate will also have a strong understanding of the National Curriculum and the assessment requirements for both subjects.

Responsibilities

Teach Drama and English to students at Key Stage 3 and 4nCreate and deliver engaging and stimulating lessonsnAssess and track student progressnProvide feedback to students and parentsnWork with other members of the staff to support the overall development of students

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalentnA university degree in Drama and English or a related fieldnKnowledge of the National Curriculum and the assessment requirements for Drama and EnglishnExperience teaching Drama and English at the secondary levelnExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsnStrong organisational and time management skillsnWillingness to undertake training and continued professional development
