JOB- Chemical Engineer (Wastewater) LOCATION- Maidstone
TERM- Permanent
Premier Engineering is recruiting for a Chemical Engineer with expertise in wastewater treatment to join a progressive company based in Maidstone. This role focuses on designing, optimizing, and implementing chemical processes to treat and manage wastewater efficiently and sustainably.

The Chemical Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
A degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline (BEng, MEng, or equivalent)
Strong knowledge of chemical processes, reaction engineering, and fluid dynamics
Proficiency in process simulation tools and software (e.g., The Chemical Engineer role will involve:
Designing and optimizing chemical processes for wastewater treatment systems
Conducting feasibility studies and process simulations to assess system performance
Developing and implementing strategies to reduce waste and improve efficiency
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical and environmental engineers
Monitoring and troubleshooting process performance to ensure compliance with regulations
Producing detailed technical reports, documentation, and operating manuals
Staying up to date with advancements in chemical engineering and wastewater technologies
Supporting project management activities, including budgeting and timelines
