A wonderful independent school in central london is looking for a Reprographics Assistant to start as soon as possible. As a Reprographics Assistant you will provide reprographics support for all staff and students, whilst also managing the reprographics room on a day to day basis. As a reprographics assistant, you will be supporting the day to day running of the school in a multitude of ways, including Reprographics, stationary, general administration, and issuing security cards. You would also be required to assist with the fascilities more generally where needed, as well as cover reception and other admin areas where required.
As a reprographics assistant, you are an integral part of keeping the school running smoothly. This means that you need to be proactive, easily adaptable and able to work without supervision. Being highly organised with strong attention to detail is key, as is knowing your limits and being able to communicate when workload is too high. Experience in a similar role would be highly beneficial, as would experience in an admin/reception role within a school. Basic IT skills are also a must.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an engaging and stimulating role within a wonderful independent school. The main duties and requirements of the role are detailed below, but a high degree of flexibility is important as you will be a jack of all trades within the school.
Main Duties:
- To assist with the preparation of materials for teaching staff.
- To manage the phone list, updating new starters & removing leavers, ensuring all extensions are up to date.
- To record and issue all post to reception for collection.
- Manage the schools stationary stock and place orders.
- Receipting of invoices and monitor budgets, using the CBIS system.
- Liase with department heads, the denior finance assistant and the Fascilities Manager
- Undertake general admin tasks to support the smooth running of the school
- Communicating and working well with collegues, treating them with respect
Requirements
- Able to work in a systematic manner with high attention to detail
- Able to use initiative and problem solve effectively
- Able to work without supervision and act proacitively
- Able to work to deadlines and multitask on various elements of the role
- Able to know your own limitations, and speak to your manager if a deadline will not be made
- Basic IT skills
- An enhanced DBS on the OUS
Desirable
- Experience working in Reprographics/in a similar role
- Experience working in an admin/receptionist role
