Location: Crewe
Position Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday, 11 AM - 9 PM) with the potential option for a 4-day week, provided one Saturday per month is worked.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join a well respected dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have general knowledge of cooking and baking, a keen eye for detail, and excellent organizational skills. This role involves assisting with meal preparation, taking telephone orders, and ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. All training on our specific dishes will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals, following the restaurant's recipes and standards.
* Assist with baking duties as needed.
* Take telephone orders and accurately write them down, ensuring all details are correct.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, cleaning surfaces, and storing supplies.
* Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
* Assist with inventory management, including checking stock levels and notifying the manager of any shortages.
* Support the kitchen team with various tasks as needed to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
* Be available to work Saturdays if opting for the 4-day work week schedule.
