Our client, a market leading engineering and manufacturing organisation in Birmingham, with a global customer base are hiring for a Plant Engineer to support to manage their large Maintenance Engineering department. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment, managing cross functional and multi disciplined maintenance engineering team.

Plant Engineer
Job Description
Ensure that Plant is running safely and effectively
Ensure sufficient Plans in Place to ensure future Reliability of Plant
Investigate and reduce recurring Plant issues to maximise uptime
Complete regular reviews of PPM
Implement plant and process improvements
Ensure sufficient spares to minimise downtime
Understand and comply with Environmental and safety legislation
Identify Cost savings through Plant improvement and Energy savings 
Plant Engineer
Experience/Skills/Qualifications
Experience minimum in a similar Maintenance Manager position
Management of a large maintenance function
HNC level education in mechanical engineering
Knowledge of Forging Press operations
