About Us:
Dragonfly Asset Management is a London-based Crypto asset investment research firm. The experienced investment team has a track record of over 20 years of superior risk-adjusted investment returns at major financial institutions and 8+ years of experience investing in Crypto. Our approach is focused on bottom-up investment research aimed at identifying the top large-cap crypto assets with strong network effects and significant business moats.

We want to hire a versatile Research Analyst to join our core team. This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing, top-performing investment fund at an early stage, learn an incredible amount, have a direct impact on portfolio investment decisions, and participate in client-facing presentations and events.
Responsibilities:
- The role predominantly focuses on Crypto protocol research with the aim of identifying new Crypto investment ideas: Interacting with new and existing blockchain infrastructure and applications, scouting CT and Discord to investigate new and existing protocols.
- Producing investment reports documenting protocol growth, traction, and competitive advantages, and presenting these ideas to the rest of the investment team.
- Leveraging your active time on CT and Discord to capture the latest news and share insights before they become widely known.
- Working with our team to create real-time analytics and portfolio monitoring tools as well as helping with other administrative tasks.
- Assisting in the production of marketing and client reporting material as well as taking part in client-facing events.
Attributes:
- A great attitude, strong work ethic, passion for Crypto, a proactive approach, an ability and willingness to learn and grow, a sense of humour, and lots of common sense
- Strong lateral thinking and analytical skills. Strong communication and presentation skills.
- 2+ years of experience in Crypto, TradFi, or FinTech and/or 2+ years of active crypto-native experience with extensive knowledge of crypto ecosystems and cryptoeconomics.
- Ideally comfortable with both qualitative and quantitative investment research approaches.
- Ideally, Proficient with CT, Discord, PowerPoint, Excel, and crypto research tools (on-chain analytics).
