As the Senior generator engineer, your duties will include:
You will be workshop based, working on a range of generators from 10KVA to 400 KVA.
You will be carrying out services and repairs.
Carry out testing and inspections
Ensure all paperwork is up to date.
As the Senior Generator Engineer you must have a solid understanding of mechanics, hydraulics, and electrical systems specific to the operations of generators and/or heavy plant machinery
You will be qualified to SVQ or NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent
Be a CSCS Gold Card holder (preferred)

To be successful for the role of the Senior generator engineer, you will have also worked in positions such as Engineer, Mechanic, diesel engineer, diesel mechanic, generator fitter, generator engineer, field service engineer, power generation engineer, Service Fitter, Service Engineer, or Service Technician. It would be ideal if you held a full UK driving license as you may be required to attend sites on an occasion. You will have worked on generators such as FG Wilson, SDMO, Stephill, Cummins, Generac, CAT, Atlas Copco, Briggs, Perkins, Himoinsa and similar.
