About the Job Job Title: Country Manager Location: United Kingdom Reports To: Managing Director Employment Type: Full-time About the Role Our client, a global leader in sustainable vending and recycling technology, is seeking a Country Manager to lead and expand their business operations in the United Kingdom. This is a high-impact leadership role for an experienced professional with a strong commercial mindset, proven management experience, and a passion for sustainability and innovation. The Country Manager will be responsible for driving strategic and operational growth, leading teams, and achieving financial and market development goals within the UK. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the strategic business plan for the UK, covering sales, operations, and service performance. Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams across Sales and Service Own full P&L responsibility for the UK business unit. Identify and capitalise on new market opportunities in the reverse vending and recycling industries. Build and maintain relationships with key customers, retail partners, and industry stakeholders. Drive the execution of customer SLAs, ensuring service excellence and operational efficiency. Act as the link between UK operations and headquarters, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Marketing, and Service to integrate market needs. Analyse market and competitive data to guide business decisions and maintain a leading market position. Requirements Education & Work Experience: Bachelor’s degree required. Minimum 10 years’ professional experience in business development, sales, or key account management. Several years of leadership experience managing cross-functional teams. Proven record of managing P&L and delivering sustainable business growth. Experience within recycling, automation, or environmental technology industries is advantageous. Skills & Competencies: Strong strategic and analytical thinking with solid business judgment. Excellent communication, presentation, and management skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on, solution-oriented approach. High level of commercial acumen and negotiation capability. Fluent in English; additional languages are beneficial. Physical Requirements: Willingness to travel frequently across the UK and occasionally internationally.
