Your Role as Head of Facilities Management Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of individuals within the criminal justice system? Do you have experience in hard and soft facilities management? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Head of Facilities Management at HMP Addiewell . As the Head of Facilities Management , your primary responsibilities include ensuring contractual compliance, managing budgets, and maintaining the security and functionality of HMP Addiewell . Your role involves overseeing financial resources, managing internal controls, and delivering a high-quality professional Facilities Management service in line with contractual requirements. Your ability to lead change, manage performance, and foster a dynamic approach to FM Services will be crucial in ensuring the prison's security, effectiveness, and overall functionality. Your experience in customer relationship and financial management, along with your knowledge of health and safety regulations and technical qualifications, will contribute to your success in this role. As a working prison, we work towards the resettlement of residents upon their release into the community and their integration into society through the skills acquired while in our care. HMP Addiewell offers a variety of initiatives and programmes to help residents engage within the prison’s rehabilitative culture. Change management and performance management experience.
A progressive, dynamic, and flexible approach to delivery of FM Services including Life cycle, Catering and Stores.
A proven track record of Customer Relationship and Financial Management.
An experienced senior FM professional that is trained in Health and Safety to IOSH Level 2 standard and has extensive knowledge of Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, Building, Electrical and Mechanical Regulations.
Ideally technically qualified to HNC/ONC in a building/engineering subject, BIFM Level 4.
