Job Title: Horizontal Borer Operator
We are currently working with a highly respected company who is based in Aberdeen who due to exceptional growth in the business are currently recruiting for Horizontal Borer Machinists
Key Responsibilities: -
* Program, set up, and operate Horizontal Borer machines.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and technical specifications. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
* Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure they are operating efficiently
* Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure production targets are met.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum of 2 years' experience operating Horizontal Borer machines.
* Proficient in programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Package
Flexible on shift pattern/hours
Salary - depending on experience
Overtime at time and a half and double time on night shift
Shift allowance is 1.5x for night shift
