Your new school
This school based in Dudley has brilliant, first-class, facilities and they pride themselves on combining academic knowledge with extracurricular experiences to enhance the classroom experience. They have supportive SLT and good behaviour policies which enables each staff member to thrive in the classroom.
They are looking for an English specialist to join them in September, to cover a 1 term contract till December, with the possibility for it to extend into the new year.
Your new role
Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons in Key Stages 3 and 4.
Create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
Work collaboratively with other teachers to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
Participate in school-wide events and activities as required.
What you'll need to succeed
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent - this is suitable for ECTs/NQTs
Experience teaching English at Key Stages 3 and 4.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
The ability to work collaboratively with other teachers.
