Job Overview:nReporting to the Global Order to Cash Lead, the Revenue Manager role will initially be focused on the operational revenue recognition, analysis, and accounting, for multiple business units, principally in our North American based business, but supporting activities globally.nEstablish a culture of identifying opportunities for improvement in processes and controls and will work with stakeholders across the Order to Cash processnSome flexibility in working hours may be required from time to time to support Month end close activities.

Job Responsibilities:nThe Global Revenue Accountant will be responsible for recording revenue in compliance with IFRS requirements, often for complex agreements.nReviewing customer PO's, Statement of Work documents, Master Purchasing Agreements and Terms & Conditions.nMonthly responsibilities include journal entry preparation for revenue and transfer cost, account reconciliations, upload of financial data to corporate consolidation system, and management reporting using advanced Excel skills such as pivots and v-lookups.nMaintenance of revenue amortization schedules, purchase price variance analysis, and provision analysis.nEstablish a culture of identifying opportunities for improvement in processes and controls and will work with stakeholders to realise the benefits from these opportunities.nFlexibility in changing from managing and supporting the team in BAU tasks, to owning or working on and driving adhoc projects or tasks as they arise.nProduce revenue reports as required by the business.nManage the quarter end revenue calls.nEngage with auditors to ensure agreement on material / complex revenue contracts or proposed deals.nPrepare revenue forecasts and then track actual revenue to the forecast.nEnsure cost of sales aligns with shipped and recognized revenue and deferred costs aligns with deferred revenue.

Job Requirements :n3+ Years post qualified Experiencen3+ years of strong revenue accounting experience required and proficiency in cost accounting a plus.nDemonstrable experience of developing and leading teamsnKnowledgeable of cost accounting, in particular with the deferral of costs associated with the respective revenue deferral.nExperience with software revenue recognition rules required.nExcellent advanced proficiency in Excel required.nStrong knowledge of IFRS15 revenue recognition rules.nAbility to pick up complex transactions, agreements, systems and files.nMinimum of 2 days per week for duration of role, and preferably 3.
