We are currently recruiting for a Graduate IT Support Technician to work for a client based in Ripponden, Halifax, HX7.
This is initially a temporary role, but with the hope of it becoming a permanent one. It will be an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the IT industry. The role would be primarily office based in Ripponden, West Yorkshire with some travel to client premises (currently in the UK only) when required.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- The role is focussed on new client implementation projects, user support and development testing.
- Project management for new client implementations.
- Online and phone-based system and customer support.
- Testing new software/developments.
- Answering Phone Calls.
- Logging support calls.
- General Administration.
- Regular server health and backup checks.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- A graduate in a technology or business-related subject.
- Excellent IT skills essential (The successful candidate will become a “superuser” of the company's system within 4 weeks, so that they can support customers from an early stage).
- Some experience of the Construction or Joinery industry would be an advantage.
- At least one year's work experience.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 08.30am-17.00pm
Salary:
- £28,000 annual salary
