Primary and Secondary Schools - Gwynedd
Up to £80 a day
Tradewind are searching for competent, proactive and passionate Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistants to work in a range of Welsh Medium Primary & Secondary schools in Gwynedd. Welsh speaking supply staff are in demand in North Wales schools and the work is varied and flexible.
The work available can be covering day to day supply however we do have long term positions also available. A background of working with children is preferred and an advantage but is not essential.
As a teaching assistant you'll be expected to:
Assist in the educational and social development of pupils under the direction and guidance of other staff.
Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Programmes (IEP) and Education, Health and Care plan (EHCP's) for students and help monitor their progress.
Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities.
Support students with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills.To qualify, candidates must:
Have relevant qualifications as a Teaching Assistant
Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a school setting
Adaptability to different classroom settings, effective collaboration with teaching staff and support professionals
A current Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checkare essential requirements.
