Leveraging high-resolution satellite images, machine learning models, and geospatial analysis, we predict how 40+ climate-positive prevention measures can be implemented to reduce risk. Our clients includes insurance companies, banks, and municipalities, with business value derived from risk reduction on individual assets and prioritisation of preventive measures within large real estate portfolios. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine project requirements related to geospatial data processing and analysis.
  • Develop and maintain APIs for seamless integration of geospatial data with front-end and third-party systems.
  • Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform on AWS to support geospatial data processing and analysis workflows.
  • Debug and resolve technical issues related to geospatial data processing and analysis.
  • Write high-quality, maintainable code with a focus on code reviews and testing.
  • Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in geospatial data engineering and remote sensing.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in geospatial data engineering or a related role.
  • Proficiency in Python programming and experience with libraries such as Xarray, rasterio, rioxarray and Geopandas in the production environment.
  • Strong understanding of geospatial data formats, standards, and processing techniques.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure management, especially AWS, using tools like Terraform.
  • Familiarity with RESTful API design and implementation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in developing enterprise software backend

Benefits:
