The School and Role
We are seeking to appoint outstanding and energetic Class Teachers to join our team at our NEW SCHOOL in Brighton. We are seeking a English specialist, with the ability to deliver at both GCSE and Functional Skills level. It would be desirable for potential candidates to be willing to deliver additional subjects.
Applicants must be enthusiastic, with an understanding of and commitment to children with complex behavioural, social and emotional difficulties.
As a dedicated SEN Teacher you will be required to work full time, term time only. Working with this particular school, you will be working with very friendly and caring staff. The school caters for children from age 11 to 16.
Requirements:
The desired SEN Teacher will;
Be patient, empathetic and have a calm manner
Be a good communicator
Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff
Have experience working with children who have special needs
