Sub Agent – Top Main Contractor (Devonport Plymouth) – Permanent
An great opportunity to join this truly unique, flagship infrastructure project on a permanent basis. Long term work available for 5 years plus Candidates must have the correct cards and tickets and be looking for a stable job and income for the foreseeable future.
This project is a major infrastructure refurbishment of the nuclear licenced docking and berthing facilities at Devonport Dockyard.
The work is focussed at number 5 Basin with Dry Docks 9 to 15 being upgraded along with their surrounding buildings and infrastructure to support the maintenance programme for new and existing classes of submarine.
The programme of works could take up to ten years to complete.
On Offer:
* Rate / Salary is negotiable dependant on experience
* Monday – Friday – Flat rate first 39 hours
* Time and a half after 39 hours
* Lodge / Mileage paid depending on distance
* Pension
* 30 days paid holiday including Bank Holidays
* Paid training and upskilling
* Secure regular income
Overtime When Available:
* Saturday – First 4 hours’ time & a half – after 4 hours double time
* Sunday – Double time
Essential:
* A full understanding of all duties of a Sub Agent
* A background in major projects with solid experience with piling
* Experience with Rotary Piling to a depth of 30M
* Able to co-ordinate all lifting activities in accordance with site plan.
* Must have direct and clear communication skills at all times with strong site awareness.
