Infrastructure Security and Monitoring Engineer Brighton / Hybrid - £50,000 + Bonus
JNC Recruitment is working with an established Financial Services group based in Brighton as they search for an Infrastructure Security and Monitoring Engineer to join their team, providing infrastructure support, maintenance and improvements from a Security and Monitoring perspective.
Post holders will need previous experience:
- Protecting infrastructure, systems and data from vulnerabilities, ensuring patching and vulnerabilities are remediated within SLAs
- Ensuring comprehensive monitoring of infrastructure, systems and applications for availability and vulnerabilities
- Taking responsibility for making changes to infrastructure systems and applications
- Responding to incidents and delivering fixes in line with SLAs and corporate processes
Technical experience required includes:
- Active Directory Administration including DNS, DHCP, PKI and Group Policy
- Comprehensive Microsoft Windows Server 2008 2022 Administration in a hybrid cloud environment
- Microsoft Configuration Manager and Endpoint Manager
- MS Azure, O365
- MS Defender/MS Defender for Cloud.
- VMware vSphere/VMware Cloud Director
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Splunk, Netcrunch or Solarwinds
- PowerShell scripting
- ITIL
- Networking Fundamentals - Palo Alto and Cisco
The role is available on a hybrid basis remotely and from the offices in easy to get to Central Brighton, and alongside the salary and bonus, there is an extensive usable benefits package, and 25 days annual leave.
