IT Infrastructure EngineernWe are looking for an Infrastructure IT Engineer to manager complex project implementation, and technical system maintenance. This role includes desktop support for around 200 users in a Financial Services firm, including server support, and exposure to trading and CRM systems.nMain TasksnCollaborate with IT team, and business units to develop scalable infrastructure strategies.nOversee all IT infrastructure operations, ensuring best practices and regulatory compliance.nTrain and develop junior staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.nManage vendor relationships to ensure value and policy compliance.nEnsure seamless service integration with all teams.nDevelop and maintain a robust, secure, and high-performing infrastructurenParticipate in office/desk moves, including out-of-hours work as needed.nQualifications, Skills, and CompetenciesnExperience with Microsoft Surface, Windows 10, and Windows Server 2012R2-2019.nProficiency in Microsoft Exchange Online (Office 365) and Office 2016/365.nKnowledge of Dell laptops, desktops, and servers.nNetworking knowledge (TCP/IP topologies) and Palo Alto Firewalls.nExperience with Microsoft Azure (AD/Hosting) and HP switching/routing.nStrong IT security focus and management of business endpoint protection.nUnderstanding of virtualization technologies.nDatabase server maintenance.nSupport for financial services applications (e.g., Bloomberg, Fidessa).nSupport for mobile devices (Apple and Android OS) and Microsoft Endpoint Manager MDM.nComprehensive understanding of Microsoft products and architecture.nTo discuss further, please contact the Financial Services team at Venn Group.
