Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an Shift Electrical Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
We are looking for an Shift Electrical Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
As the Shift Electrical Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.
The Shift Electrical Engineer, will be responsible for:
* Ensuring all equipment and services are maintained and operated in a safe condition to comply with Health & Safety.
* Monitoring regular inspection procedures of equipment.
* Recording and keeping logs of inspection reports and remedial work.
* Maintaining a working knowledge of statutory regulations.
* Ensuring awareness of all safety procedures.
* Handling electrical repairs and installations as appropriate.
* Reporting any defects at time of service visit.
* Handling vehicle and materials on board.
* Understanding and completing all work related documentation accurately and on time.
To be successful for this Shift Electrical Engineer role you must have:
* City and Guilds 236, Parts 1&2, NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
* IEE 18th Edition Regulations.
* Test and Inspection 2391 or equivalent.
* Experience in dealing LV and HV electrical installation work, within the commercial services sector.
* All facets of maintenance and installation requirements as required within the scope of the contract.
* Good knowledge of building Statutory Compliance.
* Carry tools and equipment by hand up to 20kg.
* Able to ascend/descend vertical access equipment.
* Available to join a call out rota.
* Must hold a full UK driving licence.
