We are working with a public sector organisation in South West Wales to recruit a new Senior Health and Safety Advisor to the team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional and dynamic individual to play a key role in leading the safety team and function for the business.
Based in and around Carmarthen, you will be working alongside an experienced team to provide strategic and corporate Health and Safety advice and guidance. If you enjoy working across a range of environments with a varied risk profile – this is definitely the role for you.
The Senior Health and Safety Advisor will be responsible for:
Managing a team of four Health and Safety Advisors, working together and supporting them in their roles.
Collaborating with department managers to promote continuous improvement and maintain a strong safety culture.
Developing health and safety plans to support the company in the implementation of health, safety, and wellbeing strategies.
Working alongside management in the development of business plans, risk profiles, KPIs, and operational work plans.
Giving presentations and attending events where required to promote a positive health and safety culture.

NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent level 6 qualification.
Experience managing a team.
