As a Planner, you will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of our engineering projects. You will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocations. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to anticipate potential challenges will be essential in ensuring the successful and timely completion of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines in collaboration with project teams.
Identify project dependencies, critical paths, and potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
Monitor project progress and update schedules as necessary to ensure adherence to timelines.
Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to allocate resources effectively.
Analyse project data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Communicate project status, milestones, and risks to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Continuously evaluate and refine planning processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
Proven experience as a planner in the engineering or construction industry.
Proficiency in project management software.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
