Are you a skilled and qualified LGV Mechanic looking for a rewarding opportunity? Our client in Harlow are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an LGV Mechanic, responsible for maintaining and servicing our fleet of vehicles.
This is a temporary to permanent position for the right candidate paying £18.84 per hour whilst temporary.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct inspections, servicing, and repairs on LGVs in a timely manner, meeting specified deadlines and industry standards.
Prepare vehicles for annual MOT tests and ensure compliance with regulations.
Diagnose and repair mechanical defects, particularly focusing on electrical, hydraulic, and system components.
Provide roadside assistance when necessary to ensure fleet efficiency.
Maintain accurate records of service and repair activities.Required Qualifications and Skills:
Level 3 qualification in light vehicle maintenance or equivalent.
Previous experience in a similar role, demonstrating proficiency in LGV maintenance.
Valid UK driving licence.
Strong understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, with hands-on experience in repairs and fitting.Desirable Skills:
Familiarity with electrical fault-finding techniques.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.Benefits:
