A Health & Safety and Environmental Officer is required for a manufacturing company based just outside of Portsmouth. This is a very good opportunity to join a growing team within a global manufacturing company with a strong emphasis on employee engagement and company culture.
The Job roles and Responsibilities:
As Health & Safety and Environmental Officer you will have the following job roles and responsibilities:
* Create and deliver Health & Safety strategy and roadmap
* Ensure H&S standards, policies etc are maintained
* Drive the Health and Safety agenda
* Deliver manual handling training
* Guide management team and team members on HSE training
* Effectively carry out accident and incident investigations
* Continually working to improve performance targets
The requirements:
To be suitable for the position of Health & Safety and Environmental Officer you will ideally have the following:
* NEBOSH certified – preferably Grad IOSH minimum
* Experience in HSE management in high-risk environment
* Excellent HSE system auditing experience
* Understanding in behavioural HSE leadership
* Computer literate
The Package:
The successful candidate for the role of Health & Safety and Environmental Officer will receive the following package:
