Why You'll Love This Role:
* Key Responsibilities:
* Lead financial accounting and other UK entities, ensuring a smooth month-end close and seamless promotion activities.
* Perform thorough balance sheet reconciliations with robust support and reasoning for auditors and internal requirements.
* Develop close working relationships with the UK Finance team, auditors, and other external advisors.
* Manage regulatory compliance, VAT returns, SOX controls, and liaise with tax authorities, supporting the Accounting Manager for various UK entities.
* Oversee cash, bank, loans, fixed assets, and intercompany reconciliations across all UK managed entities.
* Prepare and submit top-tier audit information, collaborating with the Accounting Director and Deputy Accounting Director on statutory audits.
* Prepare UK GAAP trial balances and reconcile financial statements, assisting in accounts preparation as needed.
* Ensure financial accounting compliance with relevant standards for UK managed entities.
* Support cross-functional teams within the matrix structure, providing necessary support and information.
* Drive continuous process improvements.
* Handle other ad-hoc tasks as required by the Accounting Director and Deputy Accounting Director.
What We're Looking For:
* Qualifications:

* Part Qualified (ACA/ACCA) or Qualified (AAT).
* Experience in an international corporate structure and matrix organization preferred.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel, Basic Word, and PowerPoint).
* Comfort working with large datasets.
* Familiarity with UK GAAP accounting (IFRS knowledge is a plus).
* Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle and Hyperion Planning preferred.
