Our Kirkintilloch, Glasgow location provides everything you need for any construction project - from foundations to finishing touches, across Central Scotland. 

We stock a comprehensive range of building materials and our competitiveness combined with our fleet of 12 delivery vehicles, plus personal attention ensures we provide the very best service to our customers. 

The Role 

This role is based in our sales office, where you will be one of nine main contacts for a designated amount of Trade Account customers and be responsible for handling their day-to-day orders and enquiries efficiently. 

Key Accountabilities 

  • Providing friendly and professional service and advice to customers
  • Handling Enquiries and Orders, by phone and email
  • Preparing and following up on quotations
  • Accurate Order processing for collections, deliveries and direct-to-site orders
  • Dealing with enquiries & orders for stock items as well as liaising with suppliers for special order items
  • Develop your own allocated customer accounts and engage with new prospective customers to create new accounts and business relationships 

Skills and Experience 

  • Extensive product knowledge of building and timber products with at least 3 years experience of working in a similar role
  • Knowledge and experience with computers and EPOS systems
  • Excellent communication and sales skills with a positive, helpful attitude
  • Knowledge and Experience in proactive sales
  • Ability to work as part of a team, on own-initiative and multi-task
