Our client a leading consultancy supplying IT services to the media sector enables enterprises to securely manage their mobile workforce with the latest technologies in mobility and security. We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Mobility Consultant to lead efforts in implementing certificate-based authentication across mobile and desktop devices. This role will involve working with Cloud CA services, Microsoft Intune, Jamf, and Cisco ISE to provide seamless and secure access for users in enterprise environments.
Job Summary:
As an Enterprise Mobility Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing enterprise mobility solutions, with a focus on certificate-based authentication and secure mobile access. You will leverage your expertise in device management platforms such as Intune and Jamf, alongside Cisco ISE, to deliver security-first mobility solutions for enterprises.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and deployment of mobility solutions focused on certificate-based authentication for mobile devices (iOS, Android) and desktops (Windows, macOS).
- Integrate and manage device certificate issuance and renewal using Cloud Certificate Authority (CA) services and device management platforms like Intune and Jamf.
- Implement and configure Cisco ISE for mobile device and desktop authentication via 802.1X and EAP-TLS.
- Develop and implement mobility and security policies to ensure secure network access for mobile workforces.
- Troubleshoot and resolve authentication issues related to certificates, network access, and device compliance.
- Design and configure enterprise mobility management (EMM) profiles to enforce certificate policies, WiFi profiles, and security standards on all devices.
- Ensure end-to-end security in mobile environments, including certificate revocation, renewal, and lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and network engineering, to ensure a seamless mobility experience.
- Provide expert advice on best practices for mobile device management (MDM), enterprise mobility management (EMM), and mobile threat defense.
- Deliver training and documentation to internal teams and stakeholders on enterprise mobility solutions and certificate-based authentication.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience as an Enterprise Mobility Consultant, Engineer, or similar role.
- Expertise in implementing enterprise mobility management (EMM) solutions, including Microsoft Intune and Jamf.
- In-depth knowledge of certificate-based authentication, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), and Cloud CA services.
- Strong understanding of Cisco ISE and 802.1X authentication protocols (EAP-TLS) for network access control.
- Experience with mobile device security and management for both iOS and Android environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for mobile devices, certificate provisioning, and network connectivity.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, Jamf Certified Expert, or Cisco Certified Specialist (Security).
- Experience with mobile application management (MAM) and mobile device management (MDM) in an enterprise setting.
- Understanding of RADIUS, AAA, and network access control in mobile environments.
- Familiarity with mobile threat defense solutions and secure endpoint management.
- Knowledge of Zero Trust architectures and identity-based security frameworks.
- Scripting and automation skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python) to enhance mobility management workflows.
