Are you a Prescriber looking for an exciting new opportunity? Goodman's Field are looking for an ANP/ ACP for 37.5 hours per week.

The premises are of a high standard within a new, modern and well-maintained surgery with a local pharmacy a few metres walk away. The practice sits within a newly rejuvenated area of Tower Hamlets, surrounded by restaurants, vibrant social spaces and amenities. Situated in the heart of Central London; St Katherine’s Docks, The Thames River, Petticoat Lane, Spitalfields and Tower Hill are a short distance away.

The surgery is accessible via A106, A11 and A13 and is easily accessible from surrounding areas via both A2 Blackwall tunnel and M25 Dartford crossing. Aldgate East underground station is a 5-minute walk away and Tower Hill, Shadwell DLR and Whitechapel station are also within walking distance. We are also a close proximity to the hospital, urgent care centre and local amenities are within walking distance.

Clinics and services also onsite include in-hours hub clinics, LARC clinics, minor surgery and first contact physiotherapy. Our clinical team comprises of a multi-disciplinary mix of GPs, Nurses, HCAS, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacists and Physician Associates. As a training practice, we also offer the opportunity for clinicians to become trainers, Clinical Leads and Supervisors.

The team are looking for a forwarding thinking ANP/ACP with an attention to detail and an ability to work autonomously within their professional boundaries

You will be an autonomous practitioner working independently and in conjunction with other health care professionals.

Minor injury and illness qualification essential and the ability to maintain and monitor high standards of care.

A non-medical prescriber, working ideally within primary care with a sound knowledge of long term and minor illness conditions. It is preferred that the ideal candidate is a level 7 (Msc) Practitioner, although candidates with accreditation or an MSC course to ACP status may also be considered.

The post holder is an experienced nurse who, acting within their professional boundaries, will provide care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care. They will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills, for patients within the general practice. The post holder will demonstrate critical thinking in the clinical decision-making process. They will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures, and providing nurse leadership as required. In order to work at this level NMC requirement for advanced practice must be met.

This role offers fantastic career progression as Lead ACP/ANP across sites, supporting and developing the Nursing and AHCP teams as the practice grows

You will be able to learn and develop your skills alongside the clinical team with support and guidance from our Regional Nurse Manager and Regional Medical Director.

To be considered for this exciting role you must have:

Experience in a Primary Care setting
NMC registered nurse with advance clinical practice or working towards Non-medical prescriber
