What we need from you

Reporting to one of our Senior Project Manager(s) of our Scotland Region, you will oversee the successful delivery of projects to scope, target cost, quality, programme and completion encompassing design, engineering, construction, handover and commercial aspects ensuring Perfect Delivery is achieved. Our Project Managers implement a full risk and value engineering management process where all risks and cost savings opportunities are identified and actioned.

  • You will need to be able to provide or obtain the right to work in the UK.
  • You will need to be able to drive and provide or obtain a full UK Driving Licence to travel across our projects, this is predominantly a site-based role to initially support our projects in the Dumfries area and will also lead to wider business support for sites across Galashiels, North Lanarkshire, North Ayrshire, East Dunbartonshire, Edinburgh and more.
  • Are you an experienced construction Project Manager with extensive project management experience in the construction industry?
  • You will have a qualification or the skills and experience at SCQF Level 10 (e.g., Degree level) and hold relevant operational certifications including SMSTS, SEATS and the appropriate CSCS card.
  • Be able to ensure that project imperatives are clearly communicated and understood throughout the project and to others.
  • Be able to provide direction, motivation and leadership to both internal staff and external consultants or contractors engaged in providing technical support activities to the project.
  • Hold responsibility for all safety, health, environment and quality matters including driving excellence and championing continuous improvement
  • Be the key adviser to the project team on project planning activities and initiatives and present recommendations and project delivery status updates to key customers and stakeholder.
  • Preferably, you will be CIOB accredited.
  • Have a real passion for the industry and want to deliver exceptionally, the places where we live, learn, work, play, care and protect.
