Our client, an established, award-winning, professional multi-disciplinary engineering practice with a passion for excellence, innovation, and environmental sustainability is looking to hire an Electrical Engineer. The successful candidate will join the existing Mechanical, Electrical & Public Health (MEP) service line that provides building services engineering support to a number of blue-chip international brands.
  
The Electrical Engineer will:
Manage small to medium scale projects and individual engineering tasks for numerous schemes, clients across multiple sectors. This will include the creation, development and finalising of engineering design solutions of electrical services elements, working with other team members and project teams together with direct liaison with the client and other design team professionals.
Undertake design calculations using various methods, from hand calculations to software-based modelling.
Support the Senior Management Team (SMT) with client relationship management on projects they are working on.
Prepare drawn information.
Write technical specifications.   
The Electrical Engineer will have:
5 years post graduate ‘hands on’ design experience working within building services.
An accredited degree to a recognised professional institution is an essential requirement for this role.
A high level of computer literacy a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Autodesk Revit MEP, National Building Specification (NBS) and Amtech ProDesign
Experience across the breadth of electrical building services such as:
High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) Distribution.
- General and Emergency Lighting.
- Small power.
- Access Control, Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) and Intruder Alarms.
- Fire Detection and Alarm.
- Lightning and Surge Protection Systems.
