Job Title: Document Controller
Location: Office-based position
Hours: 9:00 - 5:30 Monday to Friday
Salary: Up to £30k per annum (dependent on experience)
Overview: A world-leading company in bespoke engineering solutions is looking to expand their team with an experienced Document Controller. This role involves managing document control tasks within a small, high-energy team, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and customer-centricity.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare project documentation according to client specifications
- Utilise various web-based customer document submission systems
- Control, monitor, and record document submissions and returns
- Compile final project documentation requirements
- Review and revise technical documentation in collaboration with project engineers
- Liaise with customers and shipping agents regarding document transfer
- Prepare completion milestones for project invoicing
Essential Skills:
- Technical documentation experience, preferably in an engineering-related industry
- Confidence in communicating with senior management and clients
- Ability to learn and develop in a fast-moving environment
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team
Desirable Skills:
- Proven experience in document control or related administrative roles
