Job Title: Document Controller

Location: Office-based position

Hours: 9:00 - 5:30 Monday to Friday

Salary: Up to £30k per annum (dependent on experience)

Overview: A world-leading company in bespoke engineering solutions is looking to expand their team with an experienced Document Controller. This role involves managing document control tasks within a small, high-energy team, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and customer-centricity.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare project documentation according to client specifications
  • Utilise various web-based customer document submission systems
  • Control, monitor, and record document submissions and returns
  • Compile final project documentation requirements
  • Review and revise technical documentation in collaboration with project engineers
  • Liaise with customers and shipping agents regarding document transfer
  • Prepare completion milestones for project invoicing

Essential Skills:

  • Technical documentation experience, preferably in an engineering-related industry
  • Confidence in communicating with senior management and clients
  • Ability to learn and develop in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a team

Desirable Skills:

  • Proven experience in document control or related administrative roles
